Can I change my order once its placed?
For Rental items - Yes, we understand that plans evolve and change the closer to the event you get so you are allowed to update your order up to 14 business days before the event. Since our items are vintage, we can’t 100% guarantee every item in our inventory will be available but we can help assist to make any possible substations. The changes to your order must be equal to or greater than the rental deposit and any changes less than 14 days before the event will be subject to a rush fee.
I’m looking for something special but I dont see it here, can you help?
Items for Rent - Don’t see what you were looking for? No problem! We offer personalized sourcing packages for those looking for specific items, not in our inventory. We do have a sourcing fee, in addition to the rental fee but that does take a lot of work off your plate so it is totally worth it! We also may be able to create a custom bespoke item for you as well, since we have amazing relationships with local carpenters.
Items for purchase - Yes, we can help assist with finding the specific and perfect vintage item if it is not currently available for sale. We have a sourcing fee based on the item and quantity you are looking for. Please reach out to us to learn more about our sourcing services.
Do you make custom items?
Looking for a custom item that may not be in our inventory? We can help with that! We have amazing connections with contractors and artists to help build and create your dream item. Reach out to us with your specific vision and we can first see if that is something we can assist you with or create a quote based on the specific item(s) you are hoping to have created. Please keep in mind that our custom items quotes include many different factors such as time to design, create, and material costs.
Rental FAQ
Do you have an order minimum for rental items?
At this time, we do not have a minimum for rental items. As our inventory and business grows, we will add a minimum amount both for delivery and will-call items.
Can I see the items before I rent them?
Yes, most definitely! All rental item viewings are scheduled by appointment only on Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. We do ask that you have selected your items and have created a proposal with us before scheduling a viewing. Please fill out our contact form for more information and scheduling.
How do I rent an item(s)?
Pick your dates and add a rental item (or two!) to your cart and checkout with the cart on the bottom right corner.
How long is the rental period?
All of our rental items have a 24-hour rental period. We do offer longer rental periods, depending on the item and its availability.
Do you deliver rental items and if so, how far out do you deliver?
You betchya we deliver items. Delivery fees are dependent on the size of the rental order, the distance from our studio warehouse in Sonoma, and delivery drop-off and pick-up times. Our current delivery territory is Sonoma and the San Francisco Bay Area. If you need a further delivery, please reach out to see if we can accommodate it.
What is included in the delivery fees?
Our basic delivery package includes drop off and pick up. If you would like your delivery items assembled, set up, and put in a specific location, that will require an upgraded delivery package. We will need more information about the event and a full layout schematic to ensure everything is assembled or placed appropriately.
When can I expect my delivery?
Delivery times are dependent on the location, venue, and type of delivery. Typically, we deliver between the hours of 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.
Can I just pick it up myself?
Yes, you can most definitely pick up your rental items during our Will Call studio warehouse timeframe with an appropriately sized vehicle for our items such as rugs, pillows, etc. Some items may be exempt from will-call, due to their fragile vintage nature. No minimum is required for self-pickup.
Can you explain Will-Call?
Will Call is when you pick up your rental items directly from our studio warehouse in Sonoma, CA. We do ask that you arrive in an appropriate-sized vehicle based on your rental order. Our team will help provide guidelines on what is appropriate. If you don’t arrive in the specified vehicle, we will have to reschedule your pick-up. We also ask that you provide your own packing blankets, physical assistance, and any other items to secure the rental items within your vehicle.
When should I book?
Since the majority of our inventory is vintage pieces, we cannot guarantee that a certain will be available on your date before you submit a request. We suggest booking at least 6 months in advance or as soon as you are ready to book. If the item you originally wanted is no longer available, please reach out to our team and we can try and help pick a thoughtful replacement.
What happens if an item I rent breaks or is damaged?
Life happens, am I right? We know that normal wear and tear, stains, and noticeable damage to items can happen. We offer an optional damage waiver to any order, this covers those normal damages and cleaning fees. This waiver is non-refundable and does not cover any severe damage. If an item needs to be replaced due to severe damage or is broken, you will be billed a replacement fee up to 5x the amount of the rental rate. If a waiver is not added to your order and requires cleaning or repairs, a separate fee will be billed to you based on our evaluation post-pickup.
Can I leave the items out overnight?
We require that none of our rental items be left outside overnight. Since the majority of our inventory is vintage, they are not able to withstand overnight or rainy weather. Each item must be put inside or properly protected from outside conditions. If any rentals are damaged due to rain, water, or outside environments, you may be responsible for paying to fix or replace an item which can cost up to 5x the amount of the rental fee.
How do I take care for vintage rental items?
Our vintage items are one of a kind, hard to replace, and fragile. Please store any item when not in use in a safe, indoor space. If an item is damaged, stained, ripped, or any with other noticeable damage, we ask that you refrain from fixing it yourself. If any of our items require specific care instructions, we will pass that along to you before your rental item has been delivered and/or picked up.
Can you help me put together a look for my event/wedding?
We can assist with creating a custom lounge or design package based on available inventory and your event vision. If you are looking for further assistance with your event or wedding's full design, we have Full Design Packages available to help bring your epic vision to life. What is your cancelation policy?
Orders can be canceled up to 14 days before the event delivery or pick-up date. The 50% deposit is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. Any cancellations made less than 14 days before the event delivery or pick-up date are subject to be billed 100% of the rental order fee.
Vintage Sales FAQ
Where do you ship to?
We currently ship our purchased items anywhere within the continental United States. Due to the one-of-a-kind, fragile nature of most of our items, we do not ship internationally or to Alaska or Hawaii at this time.
Can I pickup my purchased item?
Yes, you can schedule a pick-up of your purchased item during our studio warehouse pick-up hours: Tuesday - Thursday 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.
What if the item is damaged or broken in transit?
We ask that you contact us within 48 hours of delivery to let us know that an item has been damaged or broken in transit. Please provide us with specific delivery details and photos of the damaged box, packaging, and damaged/broken item. We will provide the next steps once we have received the details and photos, depending on the item.
Do you take returns?
Due to the nature of our vintage items, all items are final sale.
